Trudeau scholar Sara Angel has launched the Art Canada Institute, an online not-fort-profit research-based organization, dedicated to making Canadian art history a 21st century conversation. While conducting research for her PhD, Angel discovered a gap in accessible, online resources and information about Canadian artists. The Art Canada Institute aims to promote the study of an inclusive Canadian art history to as broad an audience as possible, within Canada and internationally.
